Amerigo C.M. Thode is born on July 27th 1950 in the Netherlands.
Today he is a senator for the party Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK), member of the party since it was founded and the first president of MFK. The first vice-president of the parliament from 2010 to 2012 and president of the parliament in 2012.

Being part of the opposition, he has achieved various amendments of the country budget for the public finances of the parliament as well as the controller general (ARC).

His vision is to achieve a strong country where there is social justice for everyone. With his expertise with regards to finance, to achieve the development of Curaçao as a prosperous country.
